They make you feel like crap and they are unsustainable by design.  If you want to maintain a healthy bodyweight, you need to figure out a diet and bodyweight that you can stick with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\t<strong>Step\n1:  Start a workout program.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> If you eat enough, there is no amount of exercise that you can do that will allow you to reach your bodyweight goals.  But your diet will need to be more strict if you don&#8217;t exercise than if you do.  You don&#8217;t need a program that is too exciting.  You can set up something for yourself that you can start right away by clicking on the link &#8220;Go to Workout Builder&#8221; at the top of this blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\t<strong>Step\n2:  Create a sustainable meal plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\tDon&#8217;t\nuse a hyper strict meal plan that you learned about in a book or on\nthe internet.  Create your own meal plan.  All you need to do is make\na sincere effort to eat diverse and quality foods.  What will\ndetermine whether you meet your bodyweight goals is how much you eat.\n If your diet is consistent from one week to the next, then what you\neat shouldn&#8217;t matter all that much.  Just try to eat the same amount\nof food every day.  You can literally break it down by the amount of\nfood on your plate, but don&#8217;t forget to keep track of what you drink\ntoo.  An approximation is fine. Try to do it first thing in morning\nwith a consistent amount of clothing.  Ignore small fluctuations. \nYou may fluctuate about five pounds a day or from one day to the\nnext, but try to focus on your lowest weight of the day.  If you hit\na new low at least once a week, just stick with the amount of food\nthat you have been eating.  If you gain or retain bodyweight, then\nlower your daily food intake by a little bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/mysimpleworkout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/weight-loss-2036966_1920-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"scale\" class=\"wp-image-36\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mysimpleworkout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/weight-loss-2036966_1920-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mysimpleworkout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/weight-loss-2036966_1920-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mysimpleworkout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/weight-loss-2036966_1920-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mysimpleworkout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/weight-loss-2036966_1920-1536x1022.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/mysimpleworkout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/weight-loss-2036966_1920-450x300.jpg 450w, https:\/\/mysimpleworkout.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/weight-loss-2036966_1920.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>make sure you wash that apple.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 4:  Pick a\nreasonable target weight, then stop when you get there.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\tAvoid\ntrying to see how low you can go.  You&#8217;ll hate it down there.  And\nwhen you eventually break, the extremist personality you used to drop\ndown so low will cause you to start eating with reckless abandon and\nwill put you back at a bodyweight that made you want to lose weight\nto begin with.  You will succeed when you can come to terms with\nmoderation.
